No, Modulify is a completely no-code platform designed for web designers of all skill levels. You can create sitemaps, wireframes, and fully styled designs without writing a single line of code. It simplifies the design process, letting you focus on creativity rather than technical complexities.

Is Modulify suitable for large projects?

Yes! Modulify is built to handle projects of all sizes, from simple landing pages to complex multi-page websites. Its structured workflow, AI-powered automation, and seamless Webflow integration make it easy to scale your designs efficiently, whether you’re a freelancer or an agency working on multiple client projects.

Is Modulify compatible with all browsers?

For optimal performance and stability, Modulify works best in Google Chrome. While it may function in other browsers, certain features, such as "Copy to Webflow," do not work in Safari. We strongly recommend using Chromium-based browsers for the best experience.

Billing & Plans

Can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your Modulify subscription at any time. To cancel your subscription, go to the “Plans” section and click on “Manage Subscription.” This will open the billing page, where you can click “Cancel Subscription.” Alternatively, you can select “Update Subscription” if you’d prefer to downgrade to the Starter Plan. After you cancel your plan, you will still retain access to Modulify until the end of your current billing cycle.

I forgot to cancel and got charged. Can I get a refund?

We understand mistakes happen! If you’re on a yearly plan, you’re eligible for a refund if it’s been less than 7 days since the charge and you haven’t significantly used Modulify during that time. Just email us at support@modulify.ai. However, as for monthly subscriptions, please note that they are not refundable. Be sure to cancel before your trial or billing period ends to avoid being charged.

I'm a student — can I get a discount?

What happens to my projects if I cancel my Modulify subscription?

After canceling your subscription, you’ll still be able to access your account, but your plan will switch to the free version, which includes one project with two pages. All other projects will be locked until you upgrade again. Any projects or components you’ve already exported to Webflow will remain fully functional — you can continue editing, updating, and using them there without needing an active Modulify subscription.

Can I fully customize the generated sitemap?

Yes! You can add, remove, or rearrange sections easily. Modulify provides a smart starting point, but you stay in complete control of the structure.

How does Modulify generate a sitemap for my project?

Modulify uses AI to generate a sitemap based on a brief prompt you provide. It follows web best practices and common content structures while leaving room for customization.

What if my project requires a non-standard sitemap?

Modulify adapts to your input and is flexible enough to support unique project flows. You’re not locked into templates—you can mold the sitemap however you like.

Does Modulify support different project types (e.g. SaaS, Portfolio)?

Yes, you can tailor your prompt for different industries and project types. Modulify will adjust the sitemap to reflect the structure typical for those use cases.

Wireframes

Can I change Modulify wireframes?

Absolutely. You can start with AI-generated wireframes and then drag, drop, or change components to fit your design vision.

Are the wireframes based on UX best practices?

Yes, each component is thoughtfully built with usability in mind. The layouts are designed by modern UX standards to ensure intuitive structure and flow.

Do the wireframes adapt to different page types?

They do. You can specify the page type in your prompt or adjust after generation. Modulify ensures relevant modules are applied to each use case.

Can I reuse or save wireframe sections for other projects?

Yes! You can copy sections, reuse them in other flows, and even paste them into Webflow, streamlining your design system across multiple projects.

What kind of wireframe elements does Modulify offer?

Design & Style

Where can I export and publish Modulify designs?

Once your design is complete in Modulify, you can copy and paste it directly into Webflow for final adjustments and publishing. This allows you to quickly bring your projects to life without needing complex coding or technical expertise.

Can I preview different design systems before choosing one?

Yes, Modulify allows you to explore and test different visual themes before locking one in—perfect for rapid experimentation and client approvals.

Do I need to manually recreate the design in Webflow?

No, Modulify allows you to copy and paste the design directly into Webflow, preserving the structure and styles with minimal adjustments needed.

Can I tweak the design after applying a theme?

You can fully customize the design—adjust colors, typography, edit and update copy using AI, add your brand logo, replace default images with your custom ones or use Lummi AI wide collection of premium images—to make it match your brand or client identity.

Are the design systems mobile responsive?

Modulify’s components and themes are designed to work seamlessly across devices, saving you time on responsiveness tweaks.

Does Modulify components contain animations?

Yes, this is one of the many rich features that Modulify offers to designers. Animations and interactions are already implemented in many: Hero components, features, galleries, testimonials, headings, buttons, footers and other. Generate your pages and paste them into Webflow and enjoy animation-ready designs.

Workspaces

Do I need a Pro plan to create a workspace?

Yes — creating a workspace is available only on Pro and Enterprise plans. If you’re on the Free or Starter Plan, you’ll be prompted to upgrade before you can continue.

Can I create more than one workspace?

Each user has one default workspace and cannot create additional ones. However, you can be invited and join multiple workspaces created by others.

How do seats work in Modulify?

Every person you invite to your workspace uses one seat. If you invite 5 teammates, you’ll have 5 seats — simple as that.

How does billing work when I invite someone mid-month?

When you invite someone mid-cycle, you’re charged a prorated amount for the remaining days of your current billing period. You only pay for the time used.

When do I pay the full seat price?

The full seat price kicks in automatically on your next billing cycle, matching your plan (whether it's monthly or yearly).

What happens if I remove someone from my workspace?

Removing a member frees their seat and turns it into an unassigned seat. You can reuse that seat to invite another person at any time.

Can I delete unassigned seats to reduce my bill?

Yes — but seat removals take effect on your next billing date. You won’t receive refunds for any time remaining in the current cycle.

Can I invite members without paying first?

No — seats can only be created by inviting users via email. They don’t exist independently; however, previously paid seats may remain unassigned and reused.

Can I choose roles when inviting members?

No. Roles in Modulify are fixed. You are the Owner of the workspace, and everyone you invite joins as a Designer. Only one Owner exists, and the role cannot be changed.

Why do I see “Available Seats” in the invite screen?

This appears only when you’ve removed a teammate but still have a paid seat. Using an available seat does not create extra charges — it simply assigns the seat to a new member.

Can Designers delete projects in a workspace?

Designers can create, edit, and duplicate projects, but they may delete just the ones they’ve created. Only the workspace Owner can delete any project in the workspace.
